THE JOURNEY-

Travelling alone with eyes peeled.

.. a wide eyed alertness I notice when I'm working. It does feel as if the eyes have a layer less and are that little more exposed and therefore receptive.

London

Atlanta

Santiago (Chile)

Ushuaia (Argentina)

Antarctica

As distance grew between me and home there came a point (on the way to Atlanta) when I felt discomfort at being in 2 places in my head. I adjusted my watch to local time and became 'present'. Much simpler.

Santiago, Chile

Hyatt Hotel. Sunset from bedroom. In evening menacing clouds building over Andes. Double rainbow. Black sky. Drenched Indian wedding party sparking with rain and with the flickering of hundreds of candles. Strongly lit high rise buildings against storm. Roads become rivers and traffic wades on.

'Change takes you places.'

USHUAIA, Argentina. Tierra del Fuego. Bleached greens. As if colour sucked out. Crested Caracara. Ringed Kingfishers. Rabbits introduced by Anglican missionaries. Water-logged dead trees caused by beavers(also introduced species).
