RETORICA RECITAL: World Class Violinists play Baroque gems from Bach, Telemann, Handel and Bartok. I'm thrilled to say that Harriet Mackenzie and Philippa Mo are coming to play in the gallery during our show. I've heard Harriet as the soloist in the two exquisite performances of Wall of Water, a violin concerto by Deborah Pritchard inspired by the paintings of Maggi Hambling. LAND MARKS WALK. A 'walk and work' expedition in the environment near the gallery. Participants will make a series of marks and images in the landscape with gathered materials and thereby gain an insight into the way I work with landscape. This is followed by a light lunch and informal review. Details here. Tickets £25
Do not be concerned about weather- we will work with whatever the day offers. I will provide paper, the landscape will provide the rest!
