On Saturday 2nd I went to Charmouth to catch up on recent cliff activity. In some areas I was literally watching steady falls of matter- especially where water is running. I decided to make a series of responses on small card using the material I collected as I walked. Unfortunately Cadbury (our dog seen below) bounded into a mud slide and still retains caked blue lias traces. A local woman muttered that blue lias doesn't easily clean off and she was right. We both returned to the car filthy.
Just to mention; on the way I called in to see Paul Jones' lovely show at Sladers Yard at West Bay: www.sladersyard.co.uk. Well worth a visit (until 21 April).
