The coppiced woodland at the back of Old Nick's Field is absolutely packed with fragrant wild garlic. Along its borders are bright green and tender nettles. I picked a great pile of both and made a delicious soup. The vegetation growing in that place is bound to be packed with fresh air and sunlit goodness. The garlic ramson flowers are not far above the soil and still in bud and the nettle tips are without fibre. A good time to gather the rising energy.
